Welcome to SENS Wellness

I’m a Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor, ADHDer, and highly sensitive human. My work is depth-oriented, relational, and body-based. I offer a welcoming space to explore and celebrate all of your identities that show up, including your sexuality, gender expression, and relationship preferences. This is a place for you to return to the parts of you that were never truly lost, (re)connect with your inner wisdom, and allow your authentic expression and desires to emerge. You are not “broken”. You do not need to be “fixed”. You belong here.

Some important points to note:

  • Please ensure you have selected the correct Time Zone for your region when booking an appointment. If needed, you can change your Time Zone at the top of the schedule.

  • I will be offering in-person appointments in Victoria, BC as of August 2026. In the meantime, I would be happy to meet with you virtually either over the phone or via secure video conferencing, or you can email me to be added to my waitlist.

  • If you have a question for me, you can email me at amy.gordichuk@senswellness.com or select the free 20-minute phone consultation option below.

I look forward to connecting with you!

Hello, I’m Amy!

I’m a Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC#14027), ADHDer, and highly sensitive human. I have over a decade of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy. Something I hope you will learn about me is that I like to hold the “messy stuff” - the taboo, the hidden, the unspoken. In addition to my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, I have also completed post-graduate training in Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy, sex therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming care. These areas of expertise reflect my own struggles and healing journey.

Many of my clients are highly sensitive, thoughtful, deep-feeling adults, who may also be navigating the complexities of being “neurospicy”. I offer a welcoming space to explore and celebrate all of your identities that show up, including your sexuality, gender expression, and relationship preferences. My work is depth-oriented, relational, and body-based. In the interest of transparency, I am not a “quick fix” psychotherapist because I do not believe “quick fixes” offer lasting healing.

As a fellow diagnosed-later-in-life ADHDer, I know what it’s like to struggle in a world that was not built with us in mind. I also know we are SO much more than a diagnosis… We are entire ecosystems shaped by everything we - and our ancestors - have been through! You are not broken, and you do not need to be ashamed of who you are. Together, we will honour all that you carry, release what no longer serves you, and invite your inner desires and authentic self to emerge.

As an uninvited settler, I am deeply grateful to live, work, and play across many traditional and unceded territories covering Turtle Island. I started my counselling practice on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən Peoples and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations (Victoria, BC), but am currently living in Mi’kma’ki (Nova Scotia). I would also like to acknowledge that my position as a white, able-bodied, cisgender woman gives me immense privilege and shapes how I navigate this world. I commit to reflecting on my behaviour and my practice each day to ensure I am being actively anti-racist and de-colonial.
