Welcome to Sens Wellness

This is a place for you to return to the parts of you that were never truly lost, (re)connect with your inner wisdom, and allow your authentic expression and desires to emerge.

Some important points to note:

  • I’m happy to share that I’m offering in-person appointments again at my Victoria office! I will also continue to offer virtual appointments for folks located anywhere in British Columbia. Psychotherapy regulations are unique to each province, so if you reside elsewhere in Canada (e.g. Manitoba, Ontario, Alberta, etc.), you’re welcome to reach out to discuss if we can work together.

  • You can read about my office space and accessibility in the FAQs on my website. If you require additional accommodations, please reach out.

  • Please ensure you have selected the correct Time Zone for your region when booking an appointment. If needed, you can change your Time Zone at the top of the calendar.

  • Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you can do so online up to 48 hours before your appointment, without penalty. If you need to cancel or reschedule within the 48-hour window, a late fee will be charged. Clients who provide less than 24 hours’ notice or miss their appointment will be subject to the full session cost.

  • If you have other questions for me, you can email me at amy.gordichuk@senswellness.com or select the free 20-minute phone consultation option below.

I look forward to connecting with you!

Hello, I’m Amy!

I’m a Psychotherapist, Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC #14027), Neurodivergent / ADHDer, and highly sensitive person. I have over a decade of experience providing counselling and psychotherapy, and have worked with all sorts of wonderful folks across Canada.

Something I hope you will learn about me is that I like to hold the “messy stuff” - the taboo, the hidden, the unspoken. In addition to my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, I have also completed post-graduate training in Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy, sex therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming care. These areas of expertise reflect my own struggles and healing journey.

As a fellow ADHDer diagnosed-later-in-life, I know what it’s like to struggle in a world that was not built with us in mind. I also know we are SO much more than a diagnosis… We are entire ecosystems shaped by everything we - and our ancestors - have been through! You are not broken, and you do not need to be ashamed of who you are. Many of my clients are highly sensitive, thoughtful, deep-feeling folks who are also navigating the complexities of being “neurospicy” - whether they’re still in the process of unmasking or a space of deeper integration.

I offer a welcoming space to explore and celebrate all of your identities that show up, including your sexuality, gender expression, and relationship preferences. Together, we will honour all that you carry, release what no longer serves you, and invite your inner desires and authentic self to emerge.

My approach is very relational, trauma-informed, and integrates mindfulness and embodied approaches to support nervous system regulation, safety, and self-trust. In the interest of transparency, I am not a “quick fix” psychotherapist because I do not believe “quick fixes” offer lasting healing. I work at the intersection of body, identity, and relationship because I’ve learned that our bodies remember relational wounds that our conscious minds often can’t.

As an uninvited settler, I am deeply grateful to live, work, and play on the traditional, unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking peoples, known today as the Songhees and Xwsepsəm (Esquimalt) Nations, as well as the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

I would also like to acknowledge that my position as a white, able-bodied, cisgender woman gives me immense privilege and shapes how I navigate this world. I commit to reflecting on my behaviour and my practice each day to ensure I am being actively anti-racist and de-colonial.
